The ASCJ Executive Committee established the Prof. Linda B. Grove Prize for graduate students in order to honor an esteemed colleague who has greatly contributed to scholarship on Asia and to the ASCJ.

Linda B. Grove Graduate Paper Competition details and guidelines

Prize:

• 30,000 yen
• Consideration for inclusion in a panel at the Association for Asian
  Studies Annual Conference
• One-year membership to the AAS

Eligibility

• Graduate students pursuing a graduate degree at a Japan-based university
• Author of a paper (either individual or panel) accepted for presentation at the annual ASCJ Conference

Title page: Student Name, Status (e.g. PhD 3rd year, MA 2nd year)
Name of University, Primary Advisor’s Name
