Registration for the 2023 ASCJ Conference is now open and will remain so until June 12, 2023. Please review the section below the link for detailed information.

The conference will be on July 1 and 2. The annual schedule is now online, and the program will be posted in the late spring.

Since Executive Committee as decided to revert to an on-site format for 2023’s conference at Sophia University, ASCJ will revert to a three-period registration format

Early Bird pre-registration offers a substantial fee reduction and is open to all participants. From April 21st, the registration fee will revert to the “Regular” level. Participants who do not take advantage of online registration will be asked to register at the Reception Desk once they arrive at the Sophia University venue.

Individual paper presenters: You must register during this Early Bird period to secure your place in the program. Those who fail to do so will have their papers dropped from the program.
Panel members: You must register by June 12, when Regular registration ends. This includes discussants as well.
Co-authors of papers: You must register for the conference even if you cannot attend in order to have your name appear on the program.

ASCJ Registration Schedule and Fees
Early Bird (Feb. 20-Apr. 20, 2023):        ¥4000 (Graduate Students ¥1000)
Regular (Apr. 21-Jun. 12, 2023):            ¥5000 (Graduate Students ¥1500)
Onsite (July 1-2, 2023)                           ¥6000 (Graduate Students ¥1500)

For the 2022 online conference, ASCJ provided emailed receipts for the payment of the registration fee. Since 2023 will be onsite, participants’ will pick up their receipts from the Registration Desk.
